ignisive 2022 highlights

 ignisive Highlights 2022:

An incredible year of experiencing what is possible when government entities (regardless of political party), businesses (regardless of competition) and communities (regardless of differences) collaborate and unite to #igniteinclusivechange ❤️‍🔥
Thanks to every single contributor for helping #igniteresponsibly for the greater good ❣️
May 2023 be a year of spreading the ❤️ …and living into the shared vision of greatness we aspire to achieve for our beautiful country.
ignisive initiated / participated and facilitated the following 2022:
- Break down silos with focused collaboration between Community Forums, Government entities and Businesses (creating A+ [Positive Action] Team)
- Rebranded Community who Cares with the professional help of Moonmoth Interactive
- Launch of school based projects in Kalksteenfontein to help motivate and keep children in school and off street
- Upliftment of 13 street children/families (with ongoing workshops with Provincial Social Workers and various Stakeholders)
- Eye tests for children at Kalksteenfontein Primary, through OneSight to eliminate visual learning barriers
- Operation Boot to support disabled Kalksteenfontein learner with a proper boot
- Took Kalksteenfontein Primary learners up Table Mountain Aerial Cableway and on City Sightseeing South Africa Red Bus
- Mental wellness workshop with Cape Mental Health, CoCT fieldworkers, LE and other Stakeholders
- 30 Adults remaining off street as part of Ignisive - ignite inclusive change Community Steward Project (helping reduce beachfront crime and assistance with information leading to arrests, lost property, cleaning/general community services)
- Helping Community Stewards with IDs, Bank Accounts and support into mainstream employment and independent living
- Employability Skills Programme and Graduation for Community Stewards with guest presentations by WOOLWORTHS, City of Cape Town Library, ooba
- World Homeless Day support with stationary donation from Virgin Active SA
- Stipends for Community Stewards through Khulisa Social Solutions and U-turn Homeless Ministries
- Participation in various joint operations to support CoCT Fieldworkers to uplift more Adult Homeless off street
- Support of CoCT Give Dignity Campaign and launching “I 💙 Camps Bay” #igniteresponsibly with Verve and Veldskoen Shoes Plakkie South Africa …with first pair given to Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis
- Teambuild with Sea Point SAPS
- South African Police Service Victim Support Training through Lives with a Purpose
- Businesses collaboration around Social Upliftment efforts
- Presentations of ignisive model and strategy to various stakeholders /Community Leaders dealing with Homelessness, through Mayco and CoCT Councilors
- 18 Mattresses donated to Ons Plek Projects through South Beach Camps Bay Boutique Hotel
- Community Steward Boxing workout with Chris, from The Ring Reloaded Boxing Club
- Work Readiness Workshop with Matrics from Hangberg (Hout Bay High School) through People Dynamic Development and supported by Rhens Training Institute
- Motivational talk for the ladies of Hangberg and Imizamo Yethu with the Good Hope Constituency Democratic Alliance Women’s Network representatives, through Hangberg Dreams
