ignisive Graduation and Gratitude Celebration of community stewards

ignisive Graduation and Gratitude Celebration

Today is a significant day…
Surrounded by heart people who are connected with the shared vision and purpose of serving others for the greater good.
Our Ignisive - ignite inclusive change Community Stewards proudly received their certificates of attendance for the Spark Employability Skills Programme that we facilitated this year (since April 2022).
We got to honour these special individuals for their (already two year) commitment in providing a key safety ambassador service in our community (for visitors, businesses and residents).
Thanks so much to sponsors, Bo-Vine Wine & Grill House for the Boerie rolls, Pick n Pay Camps Bay for the coldrinks and doughnuts, WOOLWORTHS Camps Bay for the trolley full of fruit, Verve for the “I 💙 Camps Bay” water and community member Silvana Silverman for the wonderful surprise gift packs for each Steward.
Each Steward also received a PnP voucher to contribute towards their festive season grocery shopping.
We also got to acknowledge our collaborative A+ (Positive Action) Team, South African Police Service Captain Keith Chandler , Sergeant Glynnis Jean Bester , Sergeant Nathan Okkers , City of Cape Town Councillor Nicola Jowell - Ward 54 Fiona Bosch, Karen Rudy, Steven Maresch, (in their absence…Richard Bendel Camps Bay & Clifton Ratepayers Association Vice Chairman , Kalksteenfontein Principal Ms Catri Hamman , Homestead Fieldworker Aldrid Van Vuuren) and Ambassadors Jean-marc Johannes (World Champion Skateboarder) and Musician Liam Burger (in his absence while starting a tour) for their unwavering commitment and support, in often going above and beyond the call of duty for the communities we serve.
Thanks Village n Life (The Bay Hotel) for helping us ‘play it forward’ by gifting contributors an overnight stay at one of your hotels.
Without this extensive reach and support we are unable to tackle the daily on-street (and systemic) challenges we face.
We wish this team well as we welcome probably our busiest festive season yet and appreciate our community/businesses ongoing efforts to help us achieve the changes we wish to see.
Best wishes!
Camps Bay Community Policing Forum Chairman / Co-Founders Alan Marsh and Theresa Massaglia and Ryan Rudy
