Good evening All,

I hope that everyone is well, we have got the final go ahead from the city and all parties concerned!  We have thus far started prep on Camps Bay beach to begin breaking ground on Monday 22nd July.  Due to the unforseen delays with regards to get our permission, we are currently two weeks behind schedule but will still adhere to the rules as set out by the city to complete out shooting on Saturday 23rd November.

Please find attached the information release which will be running in the Atlantic Sun issue this Thursday.  As you can see from the press release, Rescue 3 is now SAF3 (a.k.a SAFE), slightly different but easy to get used too.  We've got a dedicated number to deal with any queries with regards to Camps Bay.

Moosa Vallie (Locations Manager) (to attend all meetings)

If I could please have confirmation from all parties cc on this mail, who would like to be included on this meeting to address public queries and concerns.

Kind regards,

Irfaan

Good Day All,

I hope everyone is well.  I'm sure everyone is wondering why the silence on the beach and has the shoot gone away?  No, we are still here and prepping for the shoot ahead!

We have had unforseen delays from the side of the Dept. of Environmental Affairs with regards to other requirements they had.  We were scheduled to start work on Monday 8th July which couldn't happen due to this and are now a week behind schedule.

As of Friday 12th July, we received our final sign off from DEADP and Dept. Land Use manage / building development / planning.  The Cape Town Film Permit Office is having a meeting this Monday 15th July to make sure that all departments and parties concerned are satisfied that all requirements have been met prior to use starting work.  Once we receive the final go ahead we will commence work either Tuesday 16th July or Wednesday 17th July.

I have thus far already engaged with Bernard with regards to security and this is in all in process.  I'm currently also scheduled to have a meeting with Camps Bay medics with regards to assisting us during our shooting period.

The information release which has been approved by Cllr. Schafer is scheduled to be placed in the Atlantic Sun as soon as we received the final go ahead, therefore if everything goes as planned will run in next weeks newspaper.

Thank you once again to everyone for making this shoot possible, update to follow once we have final approvals.

Kind regards,

Irfaan
