I would like to take this opportunity if I may in commending Mr Bernard Schafer for his recent participation in a theft recovery.
We are residents of Camps Bay situated in First Crescent and recently experienced a theft out of one of our motor vehicles.
Unfortunately keys were left in the bag that was stolen amongst other items and no duplicates were available. This was a serious situation.
I called Bernard on the Friday to report this theft and to my amazement he contacted me before the weekend was out to inform me that they had recovered the keys.
As this was the most important item I was relieved for the recovery.
Bernard we thank you and appreciate all that you are doing for the community.
You are professional and methodical in your approach to the task at hand.
Please forward this to all necessary participants of Camps Bay security and community watch on our behalf.
Once again a big thank you to Bernard for his job well done. (also to the individual security members and or police that may have assisted him with this process.)
