Comment on the Draft Tourism Development Framework
We have compiled a Draft Tourism Development Framework (TDF) for the period 2019-2023, which will form the basis for planning our annual program of work and preparing our tourism budget for the next five years.
About
The framework is focused on tourism rather than recreational development, however, our tourism strategies have a positive knock-on effect on recreational opportunities.
The economic addition provided by tourism growth will stimulate the overall economy and create jobs for the residents of Cape Town.
In terms of section 17 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, you can submit comments to the municipality in respect of the draft framework.
