In
light of the Theatre becoming an academy for actors /dancers/musicians in the
new year, combined with the planned upgrading of
the park area fronting the theatre and Link Road, a name change could be quite
appropriate.
Demolition
of the electrical substation in front of the theatre will be replaced with an
open piazza, furnished with sculpture in celebration of the Actors Guild.
“Theatre
Lane” or a name of similar order could compliment and add to the future
ambiance of a special place.
